Hi everybody. I'm answering the Q. However, I have to tell ya' my answer is alittle bit different, I mean I'm describing not a building but a monument-like.As some of you know, my parents were born in Oaxaca Mexico. Then, I was born in Mexico City but my birh certificate says I was born in Oaxaca too. So, I'm describin El Tule Tree.
At over 2000 years old, El Arbol del Tule (Ahuehuete Cypress) is about 2000 years old and it is one of the oldest living trees in the world. It has a 10 meter diameter trunk and the circumference of the trunk is an amazing 54 meters. El Tule is over 40 meters high, boasts a foliage diameter of over 51 meters, and weighs over 500 tons.
The appearance of the massive tree is that of multiple trunks fused together. however, recent DNA tests, suggest that it is in fact a single individual tree!!!!
The various contortions of the trunk give the appearance of the faces of monsters-like. In fact, if you visit you will see all manner of creatures hiding in the tree, including elephants, lions, and jaguars!
This great tree or Montezuma's tree as local say, is still alive and growing, as can be seen by the dense foliage reaching 43 meters into the sky!
Locals say that the monsters-like you find into the contortions are elfs who take care of the town.
So, this is my description about a place.
Folks, if you wish we could organize a tour and enjoy this amazing place as well as some tlayudas, pan amarillo, chocolate, garnachas, nieves, or even some mezcal.
Ross, I beg you to organize any teaching practice. Don´t you thing so?
