Fluency topic cards for iBT TOEFL Test Prep

Remember the topic cards we used last week for a fluency activity? Well, click here to download your own set. (The file is 31 pages long.)

We talked about this as, besides great speaking practice in general, a specific way to prepare for the new Internet-based TOEFL. If you want to use these cards in this way, you might want to have a look at the Independent Speaking Rubric ETS (Educational Testing Service) uses to evaluate responses on the test. (The rubric is a pdf file. Click here if you need to download the latest Adobe Reader.) It might also be helpful to see an Overview of the test.
